DR. DEBBIE CASSIS, MD
Chief Medical Officer and Cofounder of Hestia Fertility
Dr. Debbie studied Medicine at Anáhuac University, completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at ABC Medical Center in Mexico, and obtained her specialization in Assisted Reproduction from IVI-RMA (Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad). She has continued to enrich her education by participating in various conferences and research projects. And she is currently a member of the Mexican College of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Mexican Society of Reproductive Medicine (AMMR).
She is a specialist known for her pragmatic and comprehensive approach. In her practice, she prioritizes transparency and education, firmly believing in explaining the "why" of each step before proceeding. While her passion lies in egg freezing, her main goal is to find, together with her patients, the treatment that best suits their individual needs.
Valuing collaboration, Debbie takes advantage of the shared space with other doctors at Hestia to work as a team towards the best outcomes for each patient. Her vision goes beyond mere medical care, aiming to offer hope and fulfill the dreams of parenthood for those who trust in her.
MYRIAM OLGUÍN
Laboratory Director
Myriam Olguín is a biologist who graduated from the School of Sciences at the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM).
With over 5 years of experience in the andrology and embryology laboratory, her training has been strengthened through her participation in various symposiums organized by the Mexican Society of Reproductive Medicine (AMMR) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
She completed the "III Diploma in Clinical Embryology Fundamentals in the In-Vitro Laboratory" endorsed by the UNAMs Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, as well as a course in advanced embryology techniques covering vitrification, ICSI, and embryo biopsy offered by ARTLAB laboratory in North Carolina, USA.
NATALY RODRÍGUEZ
Embryologist
Biologist Nataly Rodríguez is a graduate of the School of Sciences at the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM).
She has completed several courses on both andrology and embryology topics, such as the course on Selected Topics in Andrology Laboratory offered by the Institute of Reproduction and Genetics of the North (GenNor) and the College of Biologists of Peru Regional Council III - Lambayeque. Additionally, she completed the Advanced Embryology Techniques course: a comprehensive course covering vitrification, ICSI, and embryo biopsy, offered by ARTLAB laboratory in North Carolina, USA.
She has extensive experience in the field of reproductive biology research as a thesis student and in assisted reproduction as an andrologist.
NÉLIDA RODRÍGUEZ
Nurse
Nely is a nurse who trained at CONALEP’s Trade and Industrial Development Campus (Secofi).
Her first job was at the Hospital Ángeles del Pedregal in the Tococirugía service, where she had the opportunity to meet the pioneer in Assisted Reproduction in Mexico. She was invited to work with them and thus learned firsthand much of what is now known as Reproductive Medicine. In that first contact, she knew that her passion lay in the field of Fertility.
She has taken several courses, workshops, and symposiums focused on nursing and human assisted reproduction. She worked at IMMUNOREP where she learned about the role of immunology in the field of fertility and spent 2 years at the Fertilidad Integral clinic, where she had the opportunity to continue caring for patients and updating herself on new reproduction techniques.
